Discover How Donations to The House Project Transformed Ricardo's Life

Ricardo, his wife, and their four children lived in a house with holes in the walls, no bathroom, no potable water, and no separate rooms; everything was contained in a single space that didn’t meet the minimum conditions for a dignified life. But thanks to generous donations, that reality is now a thing of the past.

This is one of the families from Los Robalos, in the province of Samaná, Dominican Republic, a community of approximately 4,000 residents where we have been working hand in hand with the population for the past eight years through the BlueHouse project, improving the quality of life for families and strengthening their sense of belonging.

From a Fragile Shelter to a Dignified Home

Today, Ricardo and his family have a comfortable, safe, and functional home, equipped with beds, sheets, kitchen utensils, and basic furniture.

At The House Project, we understand that a home is much more than just four walls and a roof. It is a place where dreams come to life, families grow, and lives are transformed. That is why, in addition to receiving a new home provided by The House Project, Ricardo's family has benefited from support visits by the team, aimed at strengthening and promoting the integral development of their home.

The Power of Generous Donations

Stories like Ricardo’s are made possible thanks to the generosity of those who choose to share what they have with those who need it most.

Giving not only transforms homes but also entire lives, creating a lasting impact in communities like Los Robalos. Moreover, the act of giving has the power to deeply enrich the giver, bringing joy, purpose, and a special connection with those who benefit from this support.

If you’re not yet part of the pack, we invite you to join and bring light to more families like Ricardo’s. Together, we can achieve extraordinary things.
