What begins in a classroom transforms a life
In every community we seek to strengthen, there is a common thread that guides our actions: education. For The House Project, educating is not just about transmitting knowledge; it is about opening opportunities and supporting processes that transform lives in a holistic way.
The current educational landscape faces urgent challenges. Globally, nearly 400 million children reach the age of 10 without knowing how to read. According to the United Nations, 273 million children are out of school due to poverty, migration, and lack of infrastructure.
In Latin America and the Caribbean, the situation is critical: 80% of children who finish primary school are unable to understand a simple text. In the Dominican Republic, 18% of five-year-old children do not attend early education, and nearly half of those who begin primary school do not complete secondary education.

In response to this reality, in the Dominican Republic we have designed two complementary initiatives that we are presenting to the government and potential donors: The City of the Arts and Bayacú School. Both aim to generate an educational and social transformation in the community of Los Róbalos, integrating education, culture, art, and development as a foundation for new opportunities.
"More than a revolution, education urgently needs evolution."
In this context, our work translates into concrete solutions that remove barriers to learning.
In La Guajira, Colombia, we support a semi-boarding school for Wayuu children, where education goes hand in hand with nutrition and emotional care. We understand that the early environment is critical, as a significant part of brain development depends on these factors.
In Maracaibo, we ensure daily meals for children in vulnerable situations, understanding that no educational process is possible without an adequate nutritional foundation.
A child with healthy and balanced nutrition has the cognitive readiness needed to learn and thrive.
In India, we support the educational journey of young people in our partner homes: some have already accessed university, while others continue their schooling with ongoing support.

In Jordan, through our annual Impact Day, we provide school supplies to children in shelters, ensuring they can learn with dignity and motivation.
Each strengthened classroom and every school kit delivered is a commitment to a sustainable future. We believe in children who can build their own path and becoming agents of change in their communities.
Your donation allows this transformation to continue. Today, you can be part of a story that begins with education and becomes opportunity.
