Caring for Life, Every Day

Beginning a new year is also about choosing how we want to be present in the lives of others.

At The House Project, an international NGO founded by the Montaner family and dedicated to humanitarian aid and development, starting 2026 is an act of gratitude for all that was built in 2025—thanks to hearts full of love that chose to stand alongside others and remain committed.

Throughout 2025, every donation and gesture of trust became concrete action, making possible a form of social impact that is close, consistent, and deeply human.

When love becomes daily care, life finds new opportunities to flourish.

Giving takes on deeper meaning when we understand it is not a single moment, but a sustained decision. To accompany, nourish, educate, protect, and return time and again is what turns intention into lasting realities.

Thanks to this generosity, nearly 600 people—including children, youth, and families—received nutrition, education, shelter, and ongoing support across five countries, combining immediate humanitarian response with long-term development efforts.

In Colombia, in La Guajira, specifically in Uribia, we supported 28 Wayuu children between the ages of 6 and 12. Throughout the year, nearly 24,000 nutritious meals were served, strengthening their well-being and learning. In addition, 16 playful educational activities sparked curiosity, motivation, and a renewed desire to learn.

In Venezuela, in Maracaibo, we provided approximately 40,000 healthy meals to more than 400 people, including 70 children. In a context where hunger is a daily reality, the community kitchen we support has become a true space of protection and hope.

In the Dominican Republic, we launched new dignified housing projects in Samaná, accompanying families from the Los Róbalos community.

In India, we supported 52 children and young people in their educational journeys; three of them are currently enrolled in university.

And in Jordan, we provided medical care, food, and spaces of well-being to 175 Syrian refugee families.

Caring for life, every day, is the deepest expression of love—and the most meaningful way to begin a new year.
