PRESS RELEASE

The House Project, the Montaner family's foundation, and its partners have provided humanitarian assistance to nearly 5,000 people in Venezuela.

MIAMI, Florida, June 28, 2026. Following the powerful 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes that struck Venezuela on Wednesday, June 24, The House Project has kept its humanitarian response active alongside its network of partners. In just four days, nearly 5,000 people have received assistance in the hardest-hit communities.

From the very first hours following the emergency, The House Project has mobilized a broad support network made up of universities, medical and business administration students, hospitals, parishes, social organizations, volunteers, and strategic partners.

During this first phase, efforts have focused on three priority areas: clearing debris by providing tools; distributing food, drinking water, and hygiene kits to families, shelters, and nursing homes; and supporting hospitals and healthcare centers through the delivery of medicines, medical supplies, equipment, and food for healthcare personnel.

Assistance has reached La Guaira, Catia La Mar, Los Teques, Guarenas, San Bernardino, La Pastora, La Trinidad, Montalbán, Bello Monte, El Junquito, Chacao, and Mamera, as well as Hospital Vargas, Military Hospital, University Hospital, Hospital Domingo Luciani, Hospital Pérez Carreño, Hospital Ana Francisca Pérez de León, Hospital Pariata, Clínica La Floresta, and the Airport Field Hospital, in addition to parishes, children's homes, and nursing homes.

This response has been made possible thanks to a broad network of partners, volunteers, companies, foundations, thousands of donors, and the ongoing commitment of the Montaner family.

The House Project extends its deepest gratitude to every person who has opened their heart and joined this response. Every donation has been transformed into light and hope for thousands of affected families. The organization also extends special thanks to fellow artists who have walked alongside this humanitarian response from the very beginning through their generous support.

"When a tragedy of this magnitude occurs, solidarity cannot wait. We will continue standing with Venezuela, and we encourage everyone to join us so we can reach many more families," said Ricardo Montaner, founder of The House Project.

For her part, Marlene Rodríguez Miranda de Montaner, founder of The House Project,
stated: "The first few days are only the beginning. Recovery will take months, and even years, and we will continue assessing needs so we can respond wherever we are needed most. Thank you to every person who has chosen to become part of this response, and to those who continue to join us."

When everything seems to fall apart, love remains. Let us continue being light for Venezuela. Here
